ML Update – Here We Go!
Well. Ready, set…GO! Virtual learning will take place beginning tomorrow. I’ve told the teachers and staff to work from home and only come into school to gather materials, access the server, and post information as needed. This means our main office will not be accessible from 10-1 like we originally stated. If you need to access the building, you will need to contact me for getting into the building.
To ease any student and parent concerns, teachers will still be “working” from 8-3 and be available to you. They will share those ways to contact them with you in their virtual classroom.
The faculty has had some very good discussions on how to keep the most important aspect of ML, the Christ-centered education, as the center and heart of what we do moving forward. Our prayer is that your son or daughter will be daily fed with the one thing needed through the efforts of their teachers. Daily devotions from our teachers and encouraging messages will be posted for them to view. Daily discussion posts to help encourage and build up will be a part of every day. May Jesus shine through this dark time and use this experience to bring us all closer to him.
Finally, in order to keep our students remaining at the Titan Center safe and secure and to follow social distancing guidelines, we are not allowing outside students to come to campus or for residents of the Titan Center to leave. Please share that with your son or daughter. The Titan Center residents already know this and need to abide by it for the health and well-being of all who live there.
