Hall of Fame Induction
This is the third year that we are adding individuals to our MLHS Titan Hall of Fame. Being inducted into this class are athletes, coaches, and individuals who have served faithfully in many ways throughout ML’s history. We would LOVE to have many individuals come and celebrate this accomplishment on October 24 at the Titan Center. We invite former teammates and players as well as family and friends of the inductees. Note that Mark Nolte will not be in attendance this year due to a scheduling conflict, but we plan on honoring him at our next ceremony, which will be held in July 2027.

New T-Shirts – Sponsored by your Alumni Association
The annual Gala is one way that the Alumni Association has raised funds for special projects at their alma mater. One of the major projects this year was to sponsor MLHS t-shirts for all the local Lutheran grade school students so they have some cool ML gear to wear around school and town.
Pictured below are four alumni kids sporting Titan gear. The two young ones are wearing the new ML shirt that was handed out after chapel at St. Paul’s, Stevensville by two of our student ambassadors (who just happen to be alumni kids!)

Homecoming Carnival Fun
Our Alumni Association also sponsored a fun game again at this year’s Homecoming Carnival. This is another way that they are supporting the ministry of ML by giving our future Titans a fun night at our annual carnival! We also had a number of alumni come back to help run the game to give future Titans a great experience at ML!
Seeding the Future – Planting the Seed for a Generation of Harvests
Undoubtedly, you have now heard that our year-long fundraising campaign is to reduce the indebtedness of the high school. Over the years, generous supporters have loaned ML funds to complete projects and assisted in lean years. Over time, some notes have been called in and we have had to take out other member notes to replace them. Our debt has never truly been something that we have actively worked on reducing until now. And now is the time! ML is growing with students and opportunities. Yet, the funds to cover these notes are not in place should an individual ask for it to be paid back. Our only option would be to drain our endowment fund or take out more loans. We are asking our entire Titan Nation to consider a gift to our Seeding the Future debt reduction campaign to have funds available to get our debt to under $1,000,000 by May 2027. Please consider a one-time or recurring gift and help this ministry become even more financially stable into the future!

40 Under 40 Award
Congratulations to Jeremiah Koch, Class of 2012, for receiving one of the 40 under 40 awards from Moody on the Market.
Bucket List
Karol Ann Menchinger-Behrle (Class of 1981) lives in Buchanan. She and her husband just traveled to Italy and Switzerland for 2 weeks. They checked these two places off of their bucket list. Great vacation!
Alumni Trivia Contest!
Last month, we didn’t receive any responses to our trivia, shockingly! Of course, we know that was Ryan and Kate Kepner in their matching gear. Well, this month, here is another opportunity for you to win some ML swag. Submit your answer. We have an ML alumni t-shirt ready to hand out to the first to answer correctly!

Help your Alumni Association
The Alumni Association has an aggressive plan to positively impact MLHS again during the 2026-2027 school year. Their plans are dependent on others joining in to help carry these events out! See the timeline below. Each of the quarterly meetings will have a Zoom option available.
