FALL FEST
Our Annual Fall Fest will have trunk-or-treat, food, and fun giveaways for kids of all ages! Join us on October 31 from 2-4 pm! If you’d like to get involved and have your trunk decorated, contact Mr. Herbst at mherbst@michiganlutheran.org
Choral Fest 2026
Choral Fest is just around the corner! This year, our Festival Singers are heading to Manitowoc Lutheran High School on October 13-15 for the Pops and Sacred Concerts. Head to www.WELSFineArts.org for times and streaming information.

Alumni and Friends Career Day at ML
On January 20, 2027, we are inviting alumni and friends of ML to come and share their career/businesses with the students of ML. Each individual will have an 8′ table setup in the gymnasium where you can promote your business and/or career choice to the students of MLHS. This is a great way for our students to learn directly from you about what it would take for them to enter your field of labor. Please have a display of some kind and some sort of take-away for the students.
We will provide lunch for each of our vendors, sponsored by the alumni association.
Schedule of the day
- 11:00-11:40- 10th grade
- 11:40-12:10 – Presenters eat
- 12:15-12:50 – 11th grade
- 1:00-1:40 – 12th grade

Hall of Fame Ceremony
This past weekend, we were able to induct new members into the Titan Hall of Fame. Congratulations to Jeff and Cheryl Breinling – Distinguished Service; Corin (Robards) Ritter – Athletics; and Randy and Becky Cox – Coaching for receiving this honor. Mark Nolte, athletics, was unable to attend. He will be inducted into the Hall of Fame in July when we hold our next ceremony.

Sponsored Projects by the Alumni Association – Such an Impact!
The ML Alumni Association has big goals! Each year, they want to give back gifts to impact their alma mater and enhance the ministry of ML. What a year it has been!
They have sponsored numerous events including the Hall of Fame Banquet, 50th Anniversary Reunion for the Class of 1976, MLHS Golf Classic, and Homecoming Carnival. They designed and ordered over 600 ML T-shirts to give out to the local Lutheran grade school students so they can be sporting ML gear! They gave going-away gifts and a luncheon to our graduating senior class, and they finalized some renovations in the main gym from the previous year’s Gala.
Many alumni are pulled together to help with these important events. Are you ready to step-up and help as well? We are currently seeking two Alumni Association Officers to replace two outgoing officers. Contact Julie Duensing, ML Alumni Association President, to get more information on how to serve!!
Seeding the Future – Planting the Seed for a Generation of Harvests
WOW! What a great response so far to our annual campaign to reduce the debt of ML and to SEED THE FUTURE for the legacy of ML! We have been able to reduce our debt by $177,000 since March! Also, over $250,000 of the notes we still hold have changed their beneficiary to MLHS. Now, close to 1/3 of our debt has ML as a beneficiary. The goal to reduce our indebtedness to under $1,000,000 is on target! We only have $219,000 to go. All gifts to this effort pay directly to individuals who have a note with ML that does not have ML as a beneficiary. It also reduces our annual interest payment from our reserve funds and helps us build up funds for other needs that arise.
