Homecoming Carnival
Bring your kids or grandkids to this year’s Homecoming Carnival on October 2. No kids or grandkids? Come anyway! Tour the building, feel the excitement, and support your school with all of Titan Nation!
It’s a fun night where we recognize all of our players from flag football kids, young cheer squads, through Middle School and high school teams.
There are games and prizes, great food, a hay ride, and time with your Titan Family.
We will have a special alumni booth to get some ML swag and get together with other ML alumni.
Hall of Fame Induction 2025
This is our 2nd year of inducting new members into the MLHS Hall of Fame. The picture is from our inaugural year.
This year, the inductees will be honored on Saturday, September 20 at Silver Harbor from 4-6 pm.
The 2025 Hall of Fame Class:
(2)Student Athletes: Jake Briney (class of 99); Melissa Hawk (Garland) (class of 93)
(1)Distinguished Service: Elmer Dobberstein (ML’s First Principal)
(1)Distinguished Coach: Robert Gruetzmacher (ML’s first AD and Coach)
A committee of individuals takes nominations and determines these inductees. If you’d like to nominate someone for future consideration, stay tuned for nomination applications and criteria!
“Have a Drink on Us” – Class Reunions
The Alumni Association would love to help plan and execute class reunions. They are offering a $200 certificate for classes that end in a “6” or a “1” this year (so 2016, 2011, 2006, 2001, etc.) to those who contact us at alumni@michiganlutheran.org to share their class reunion plans. The leader of the group can then come and get the gift card and use it at the reunion to “have a drink on us”! But, please do the following as soon as you have a plan:
- Give us the date and location of your reunion
- Email us to get up-to-date contact info and share any classmates info that we may not have.
- Schedule a school tour with your class
- Take a group picture and email it to us after the event!

Engagement!
Congrats to Allison Semenak (2019) who was recently engaged. Her fiancee, Elijah, is helping coach football at one of our sister schools, Kettle Moraine Lutheran. Allison now works in Milwaukee after graduation as an accounting operations specialist. and her brother, Andy (2021), recently moved in after graduation and he works as a business tax specialist in the area as well!

Alumni Trivia Contest!
The Trivia Contest is maybe a little too difficult as we had no answers to last month’s picture of Class of 96 graduate, Adam Kelm. But, we aren’t giving up on you just yet, Titan Alumni! Let’s try again!

Help your Alumni Association
The Alumni Association has an aggressive plan to positively impact MLHS again during the 2025-2026 school year. Their plans are dependent on others joining in to help carry these events out! See the timeline below. Each of the quarterly meetings will have a Zoom option available.
